Xiaomi has launched two smartphones in India on 14 February 2018, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 & Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro.


Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Comes with Qualcomm's latest chipset, Snapdragon 636 which is a 14m, Octa-Core Processor base on ARM Cortex technology having a maximum frequency of 1.8GHz.


Redmi Note 5 Pro comes under two variants: 4GB/64GB & 6GB/64GB. Both of the variants support latest LPDDR4X series of RAM and eMMC 5.0 flash storage.

It has 158.6mm height, 75.4mm width,8.05mm thickness. Its weight is 181g.

It packs with 4000 mAh battery which gives it a life of full-day performance without getting worries about charging.


To shoot natural like sharp images, the company has given Dual rear camera which packs with a 12MP primary sensor which comes from Sony (IMX 486 sensor)with 1.25μm, f/2.2 aperture and 5MP secondary lens which comes from Samsung with 1.12μm, f/2.0 aperture, it actually works to captures depth information.


It has a 20MP front camera which comes to Sony (IMX376) with 1.0μm, f/2.2 aperture. Front camera support Beautify 4.0. It has a front LED flash. It can record up to 1080p at 30 fps.


The handset comes with 15.2cm (5.99-inch) with 18:9 full-screen display. It has 2160 x 1080 FHD+ and having 403 PPI. It has 84% NTSC color gamut.


The company has teased that in March OTA Update Redmi Note 5 Pro will get face-unlock features which will be fully based on Artificial Intelligence.

It supports 4G VoLTE but a hybrid slot. The handset comes with Bluetooth  5.0, 5G WiFi with dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz.


It packs with all the necessary sensors like Electronics compass, Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, Infrared, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope, Hall sensor. For GPS Navigation, it has GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, BeiDou positioning. It supports a wide range of multimedia like MP4, M4V, MKV, XVID, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, MP3, AMR, FLAC, etc.


Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Comes in four vibrant color combinations: Black, Gold, Rose Gold, Lake Blue.
7 months have passed, launch Android Oreo but still, the company has introduced both of the smartphones with Android Nougat, 7.1.2.
